Balmorhea/Danny Garcia interview on the Berrics

Colin Kennedy hit me up a bit ago to use some photos of Danny Garcia for an interview on the berrics.  Colin directed a music video for the band Balmorhea’s song “Pyrakantha” and wanted to have Danny star in it, it came out really sick so do yourself a favor and hit THIS LINK to go check the interview and the pics!

ps. I shot those portraits a while back, here’s a couple more from the same shoot…

Trajectory – sml. wheels – Part II

Although I missed the second day of filming for sml.’s trajectory, I made it out for the third.  Most of the team made it to Lincoln skatepark in LA and were all psyched and ready to go…except for the few minor details of Raymond being hurt, Javan being hurt, and James being super sick… (more…)

off the grid/text yourself goodness

Although these links have already been up for a minute, I still had to do a shout out for the homies.  The berrics is definitely killing it with its last off the grid article, featuring our boys James Craig and Danny Garcia; not to mention being filmed by Colin Kennedy.  Makes me think of the old days skating with this crew, always a good time.  Next throw in a text yourself featuring Ronnie Creager and that’s just some damn good entertainment.  Don’t worry, I’ll stop feeding off other peoples subject matter and get some of my own in due time.

Morgan – 30 shot

I went skating with Morgan Smith and Aaron Brown the other day at the Berrics outdoor park, place is so amazing.  They were working on what should end up being a video for 30 shot.  I skated around a bit myself but my knee was messed up at the time so I just got to business and snapped a few pics. Morgan Smith – ESPN interview

A while back ESPN hit me up for some pictures of our good friend Morgan “Wild” Smith to do an interview.  I didn’t hear back for quite a while but an email the other day let me know they were running them, the photo game is crazy.  Go check the interview of one of the most humble people I know, fresh off of winning Battle at the Berrics 4, getting second at Maloof Lord of the Lines, and destroying everything in his path.
